BROOMSTICK TALES
Nobody’s Witch
Agnes and Harriet are two witches that own a magical potion shop in the town of Broomstick. Harriet was always seeking adventures. Agnes was happy with running the potion shop and telling fortunes with her crystal ball.
“I’m bored. Nothing ever exciting happens around here. I want to go on an adventure,” said Harriet with her head slumped into her hands resting on her elbows on the counter.
“You want some adventure? Just watch that door. Your next adventure will walk through that door soon enough. And beware for what you ask for. You may not like what you get,” said Agnes.

Broomstick Tales: The Cryptic Secret of Zweig’s Magic Wand
In the magical town of Broomstick there is the Hidden Quiddity Potion Shop owned by two sisters, Agnes and Harriet. Most of the time, Agnes and Harriet are well aware of unusual happenings in the magical world. Not this time. And to make things worse, Harriet didn’t know what her teenage daughter Kizee was up with a knotem boy by the name of George Düben until it was too late.
No one knew of the map or the plan to find Zweig’s magic wand. Strangely enough, this had been the best kept secret in Broomstick. Agnes and Harriet were helping customers when the storm passed through Broomstick. Harriet didn’t have any idea what Kizee and George were really up to.
Suddenly, Harriet fell to her knees. “Kizee, No!”
Agnes felt the high power of magic vibrate through her. She saw her sister fall to her knees.
“I felt it too,” said Agnes as she helped Harriet up.
Broomstick Tales: The Magic Locket of Katee Greene
Katee Greene forgot the one rule of the magic locket, do not open a door after sunset. With her new friends from Broomstick, Cyndi, Mindy, and Wendy McDermit along with April and May Münter, they all go on an adventure of a lifetime simply by letting Katee Greene open a crypt door after dark on November eighteenth, better known as Occult day.
When Agnes and Harriet went looking for answers of who Katee Greene is, they find Katee’s father Wesley willing to help.
“Is this some kind of Halloween prank you are trying to pull? I’ve read about the crazy goings on in that weird town, witches and wizards supposedly doing magic. What a bunch of rubbish. Get away from my house,” yelled Wesley Greene as he slammed the door shut on Agnes almost catching her fingers in the door jam.
“Rubbish he says. Crazy goings on says he. Pulling Halloween pranks are we? Now it’s my turn to talk to him,” said Harriet as she twirled her right index finger and disappeared into the house.
Broomstick Tales: Ghost of a Chance at True Love
Sitting in the high back plush purple velvet fabric chair was the skeleton. In the right hand of the skeleton was the magic wand. “Are you offering me your magic wand?” Amber asked the skeleton. Get ready for a Halloween story that will keep you on the edge of your chair. Arnie Grimm and Wazoo the Wizard have conjured up a Ghostly Tale that has death defying tragedies and evil villains. Most of all, there is lots and lots of magic to save the day, maybe. Let’s hope so anyway.
Broomstick Tales: Pandora’s Puzzle Box
New York crime detective Lieutenant Kovar discovered a murder scene wasn’t the normal Saturday night murder mystery crime drama he was so used to.
Lieutenant Kovar made his way back to the broken window and stared out. “Not possible,” he mumbled. “That a huge dirt clod with dynamite stuffed in it could be thrown through the window.”
“What you have here is a crossover crime from our magical world into your knotem world,” said Agnes.
“Magical world and knotem world, I knew this was going to get weirder before it will make any sense. What is a knotem?” asked Lieutenant Kovar.
“Not magical slurred together,” said Agnes.
